Alianza Americas is proud to announce that Oscar Chacón, co-founder and strategy advisor to our network, has been honored with the 2025 Inamori Ethics Prize, granted by the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence at Case Western Reserve University.
This award recognizes exemplary leaders from around the world who have demonstrated exceptional ethical commitment and have significantly contributed to improving the living conditions of humanity. In this edition, the recognition of Oscar Chacón highlights the importance of his career in defending human rights, social justice, and the dignity of migrant communities, both in the United States and internationally.
“We proudly celebrate this recognition of one of our founders. Our network is convinced that the defense of human dignity and social justice is fundamental to building more just and democratic societies,” said Dulce Guzmán, Executive Director of Alianza Americas.
In a global context marked by growing challenges to migrant policies and protections, the Inamori Prize reaffirms the urgency of strengthening ethical leadership committed to equity, inclusion, and human rights.
