TPS for Honduras and Nicaragua: What the Community and Allies Need to Know

2025

Last Monday, the U.S. government announced the cancellation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Hondurans and Nicaraguans – a cruel, unjust and legally questionable decision that puts at risk the stability and unity of thousands of families who have lived in this country for more than 25 years.

We invite you to an urgent and informative webinar.

TPS for Honduras and Nicaragua: What the Community and Allies Need to Know

  • Today, July 9, 2025
  • 4pm PST / 6pm CST / 7pm EST
  • Virtual: https://bit.ly/4lCDDxJ
  • Simultaneous interpretation available in English and Spanish

During this space, we will address:

  • What does the cancellation of TPS mean?
  • What impacts will it have on Honduran and Nicaraguan families?
  • What steps can those affected consider?

This decision ignores current conditions in Honduras and Nicaragua, and forces thousands of people to make difficult decisions about their future, in many cases separating them from their U.S. citizen children and families.

Join us to discuss this announcement and learn about available legal and community resources.
