CALA works in collaboration with healthcare providers and community liaisons to connect individuals with health services and support, especially for people living with HIV. In addition, CALA supports the broader Latino community by facilitating access to essential resources, including vouchers for eyeglasses and vision health consultations, assistance with some expenses related to immigration processes, and emergency support such as food cards and help with electricity payments. CALA is committed to promoting access to healthcare, language justice, and social equity for Latino communities in Alabama. CALA is currently in the process of developing its own website.
