WHAT: As part of the series Root Causes of Migration from Central America, Alianza Americas and its members CARECEN Washington DC, CARECEN San Francisco, Central American Black Organization (ONECA), Hondureños contra el SIDA, Casa Yurumein, Centro Presente and its partners Presente.org, Latin American Working Group, Center for Gender and Refugee Studies, and OXFAM, will host the live conversation “What Are the Root Causes of Migration from Central American? Part 2: Social Development,” this Thursday, March 25. The conversation will feature leaders and experts from Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador who will discuss their respective country’s development and economic policies and their impact on social and economic rights in the region.
