WHAT: Alianza Americas joined by member organizations Casa Yurumein, Casa Michoacán, Center for Immigrant Progress, Centro Presente, Centro Romero, CRECEN Houston, Florida Immigrant Coalition, Wind of the Spirit will host actions in Illinois, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Texas; demanding that Congress take immediate action to save TPS & DACA and protect vulnerable communities from deportation.
WHY: TPS and DACA are being dismantled by the Trump administration and nearly 400,000 TPS holders and nearly one million DACA beneficiaries are left unprotected from deportation and family separation. Join Alianza Americas’ members and allies at the locations below as they deliver their direct message in person to Congressional representatives across the country, and demand they take action before the end of 2020.
