The Internet is a lifeline and a gateway to opportunity. We believe that digital connectivity must be accessible, affordable, reliable, and equitable. As Latino and migrant communities continue to grow, we demand that access to the internet grows as well.
Nos Conectamos is a digital equity project that
- Raises awareness and increases enrollment in the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) among the migrant communities of the Latin American origin
- Ensures that migrant communities of the Latin American origin are empowered with digital literacy skills necessary to bridge the digital divide to improve health, economic and cultural outcomes.
Thanks to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), eligible households can receive free Internet service. Eligibility for the program is based on annual household income or participation in other public assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, and many others.
