Centro San Bonifacio Chicago

Centro San Bonifacio was founded in 1991 as an act of community solidarity by a group of families after the closure of the Church of San Bonifacio. The organization was created under the purpose of serve the people and be led by the American Latino immigrant community, maintaining the service community in positions of power and influence into decision making. Since our beginnings, we have grown up in the boardroom of a one of our member’s apartment until it became a highly secure and self-sustaining community organization.

Our main objective has been training health promoters within the Latino immigrant community in the northwest of the city of Chicago.
