Alianza Americas challenges and seeks to transform our understanding of citizenship and to make sure that organized migrant communities have a seat at the table in local, national, regional and global migration governance.
In 2018, Alianza increased its advocacy work in the region by adding representation in Mexico and Central America. This is part of a long-term effort to build cross-border networks that can make progress on issues such as labor justice, human rights and social and environmental justice, taking advantage of the vision and transnational commitment of immigrant-led organizations.
