During these difficult times, we need your help and support more than ever. We are fighting hate and xenophobia across the nation by promoting unity and love through our SOMOS/WE ARE initiative.
But we need our friends and allies to stand with us.
We urge you to stand with us against hate so that together we can make a difference in the lives of immigrant children and families. Our families need to know that they are not alone and that they have a strong community behind them who will fight with them.

SOMOS We Are
Reclaiming Our Humanity
SOMOS/WE ARE is a collaborative initiative developed by Alianza Americas & its members and allies, using art, music, video, & other cultural expressions to tell the true stories of immigrants and our communities. SOMOS/WE ARE provides a powerful counter-narrative to the negative and misguided perception of immigrants that has come to dominate public discourse and policy making, thereby harming our communities, not just in the U.S., but also in other countries around the world, including our own countries of origin.

10 Year Anniversary
In early 2014, a small group of immigrant leaders gathered in Washington, DC with a shoestring budget and a big dream: to create a national network that could lift up the voices of the Latin American and Caribbean community. In November of 2014, Alianza Americas celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary. Today, Alianza Americas 45 organizational members represent more than 100,000 families across 12 states in the United States.
